Ocean Waste Plastic
Ocean waste plastic is produced from 100% recycled materials sourced from ghost fishing nets, which are abandoned or lost fishing nets that pose a threat to marine life. With certification from the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), we prioritize sustainability and combat marine pollution by using 100% recycled ocean waste plastic for the watch case and crown.
Ocean Bound Plastic
Ocean bound plastic (OBP) refers to plastic waste collected from coastal areas, acting as a proactive measure to safeguard marine ecosystems from potential harm. The strap’s top layer is meticulously crafted from 100% post-consumer polyester, sourced from recycled ocean bound plastics certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Stainless Steel
The stainless steel used for the watch is both environmentally friendly and sustainable, as it is fully recyclable and crafted from up to 85% recycled stainless steel materials, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy.
Brass
The brass used in the watch dial is responsibly sourced and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, ensuring sustainability and compliance with strict environmental and social standards. It is made from a combination of recycled copper and zinc materials, further contributing to the use of recycled resources.
Motion-Powered Movement
The MOCEAN watch features a Japanese Miyota 8217 automatic movement with 21 jewels, a precision range of -20/+40 sec per day, and up to 42 hours of power reserve.
